Mountain Cherry Academy is deliberately structured as an institution dedicated to shaping 21st-century scholars. Our mission is achieved through a partnership among our students, expert faculty, and engaged parents. While fostering a community that values respect and responsibility, we fundamentally prioritize the rigorous pursuit of knowledge and intellectual development.

MCA offers a robust and strategically designed curriculum, anchored in the US Common Core Standards, intended to develop each student's intellectual and creative potential to its absolute fullest. Supplementing this core academic program is an extensive range of extracurricular activities, from competitive athletics like fencing and ice hockey, to diverse student clubs that encourage specialized interests and skill application.

 

Our professional culture is built upon clearly defined academic principles, which we summarize as RED: Responsibility in Teaching, Equity in Learning, and Diversity in Curriculum. MCA faculty are highly qualified professionaqls who fully embody these principles, ensuring that every student receives fair, comprehensive, and challenging opportunities necessary to acquire deep knowledge, hone critical thinking, and develop specialized talents.

 

Since its establishment in 2020, MCA has demonstrated phenomenal academic and institutional growth, achieving and maintaining uncompromising global standards. This commitment to excellence has been evidenced as MCA was recently accredited again by prestigious organizations, including Cognia, Accreditation International, MSA-CESS, and NCPSA. We are proud that we have earned the distinguished "Accredited with Merit" status from Cognia, following our successful reaccreditation through 2032.

As principal, I am pleased to contribute my over two-decades of concentrated experience and leadership within international education to MCA.
